A poll released today by the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers, shows Eugene DePasquale leading Congressman Perry by 2 points (46-44%) in what is the first independent poll released in this race.
These latest poll numbers show that incumbent Scott Perry is in very weak standing and that there is significant room for Eugene to grow his support. This poll comes on the heels of the DePasquale campaign releasing its first TV ad.
DePasquale for PA-10 Communications Director, Kunal Atit, released the following statement in light of the new polling:
“Numbers don’t lie, and this latest poll reinforces what we have said all along, South Central Pennsylvanians are sick and tired of Scott Perry putting them second to his special interest donors in Washington. From voting against lowering prescription drug costs, voting to repeal protections for pre-existing conditions, or exploding the deficit to give billion dollar tax breaks to the corporations that bankroll his political career, Scott Perry has made clear where his priorities lie,” said Atit
“We look forward to continuing to introduce Eugene, and his record of standing up for working families, to voters across this district.”
