Today, the DePasquale for PA campaign challenged Congressman Scott Perry to participate in two October debates this fall, in what has been called the most competitive congressional race in the state.
The Depasquale campaign issued a formal letter to the Perry campaign outlining specific criteria around the debates to ensure they are accessible and informative to voters in PA-10:
To ensure the debates serve the interests of voters, our campaign has set forth the following criteria:
- The debates should occur in October, when many PA-10 voters will be receiving and filling out their mail-in ballots.
- Debate viewership should be free and accessible to all PA-10 residents.
- Both debates should be televised live on local broadcast stations.
- Both campaigns will come to an agreement on format, neutral moderators, and nonpartisan hosting organizations.
