Harrisburg – Today, Eugene DePasquale announced that he began 2020 with nearly half a million cash on hand, having raised over $300,000 in the fourth quarter of 2019. Over 90 percent of this quarter’s impressive fundraising haul came from Pennsylvanians.
“As I travel the district, I continue to be inspired by the strength of our grassroots campaign,” said Eugene DePasquale. “It’s clear Pennsylvanians are ready for a representative who will work on their behalf to lower the cost of health care and prescription drugs and repair our crumbling roads and bridges, not another partisan obstructionist. I will bring my record of rooting out corruption and combating wasteful government spending to Congress and will always work for the people of Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District, not the special interests.”
Election forecasters, including Cook Political Report and Politico, rate this race as a toss-up. Eugene has been endorsed by Governor Tom Wolf, former Governor Ed Rendell, countless local officials in the district, the League of Conservation Voters, Brady, NARAL Pro-Choice America, and the Blue Dog PAC.
