DePasquale Endorses Two House Bills Impacting Pharmaceutical Industry

Eugene called attention to a pair of house bills that will help rein in pharmaceutical costs and make the pharmacy benefit managers more accountable.

One bill gives the state the ability to review contracts between the PBM’s and manage care organizations. The other prohibits gag clauses that stop pharmacists from telling customers how they might save money on their prescriptions.
